E. Warren Wellness Fair Recap: A Day of Community, Care, and Connection

Last Updated 6/9/2026

E. Warren Wellness Fair

On Saturday, April 25, the E. Warren corridor came alive with energy, connection, and a shared focus on well-being at our E. Warren Wellness Fair.

From 12PM to 3PM, community members of all ages gathered at the E. Warren Farmers Market site to access free resources, engage in wellness activities, and connect with local organizations committed to supporting the Eastside.

Event Recap:

A Holistic Approach to Wellness

The Wellness Fair was designed to meet people where they are by offering resources across multiple dimensions of health:

  • Physical wellness through fitness sessions and movement activities
  • Mental and emotional wellness through education and self-care resources
  • Nutritional wellness with access to healthy food options
  • Community wellness by creating space for connection and support

Local vendors, practitioners, and organizations showed up in a big way, providing everything from health screenings to wellness education and hands-on experiences.

Family-Friendly and Accessible

This was a space for everyone. Families enjoyed:

  • Free kids activities including face painting and basketball
  • Interactive wellness experiences
  • Free food offerings that brought people together

By removing barriers to access, the event created an environment where community members could prioritize their well-being in a welcoming and supportive setting.

Building a Healthier Corridor

The Wellness Fair is part of a broader vision for E. Warren: a corridor where residents and small businesses can thrive.

Events like this go beyond a single day. They:

  • Strengthen relationships between residents and local resources
  • Support small and local wellness-based businesses
  • Activate public space in meaningful ways
  • Reinforce E. Warren as a hub for community health and resilience
