Little Liberia Grand Opening on E. Warren

E. Warren Businesses on bringing the heat!

There’s a special kind of energy building on Detroit’s east side right now.

From storefront grand openings to retail expansion and pitch competition wins, local entrepreneurs are continuing to prove that small businesses are not just surviving, they’re growing, innovating, and creating opportunity throughout our communities.

Here are a few business highlights we’re celebrating this month:

Little Liberia Celebrates Grand Opening

The official grand opening of Little Liberia marked an exciting milestone for Detroit’s cultural and culinary landscape. The new business brings vibrant West African flavor, culture, and community to the corridor while adding another locally owned destination for residents and visitors to experience.

Grand openings represent more than ribbon cuttings. They reflect years of vision, sacrifice, and persistence from entrepreneurs willing to invest back into the neighborhoods they believe in.

We’re excited to see Little Liberia continue to grow and become a staple on the east side.

Stacey’s 2 Day Tea Expands Into Rivertown Meijer

Another huge win for local entrepreneurship: Stacey’s 2 Day Tea products are now available inside the Rivertown Meijer store.

Getting products into major retail spaces is no small accomplishment. It requires consistency, branding, production readiness, and customer demand. This expansion creates even more visibility for a Detroit-based business while making wellness products more accessible to the broader community.

Seeing local brands enter larger retail markets is exactly the kind of economic growth we want to continue supporting.

How can you show love to E. Warren businesses?

Supporting Local Businesses Matters

These wins may look different on the surface, but they all represent the same thing: momentum.

When local entrepreneurs succeed, it creates ripple effects across the community through job creation, neighborhood investment, cultural identity, and economic opportunity.

Detroit’s east side is filled with talented business owners building something meaningful every single day, and we’re proud to celebrate their growth along the way.

Be sure to support these businesses, share their work, and continue showing up for the people investing back into our communities.
